Draw Me A Star

Cut a star from a piece of 9 x 12 construction paper (color of your

choice). Decorate your star using various craft supplies – tissue

paper, aluminum foil, paint, markers, glitter, sequins, etc.

Select one of the books listed above. After reading the story,

create the insect from the story. Use paper plates, paper tubes,

etc. for the insect’s body. Use tissue paper, craft foam, and other

art supplies to make your insect BIG and colorful.

After enjoying this Eric Carle book, have an unbirthday party

with your family. Serve your favorite treats. Take lots of

pictures and create a photo collage or your family’s

celebration.
