Homework

Homework is given to reinforce learning. A quiet time and place at home, as well as parental encouragement, are essential for the success in completing homework assignments. The approximate amount of time for homework for the various grade levels is as follows:

Kinderten: 30 minutes weekly
1st Grade: 10-20 minutes
2nd Grade: 20 - 30 minutes
3rd Grade: 20 - 30 minutes
4th Grade: 45 minutes
5th Grade: 1 hour
6th Grade: 1-2 hours
7th Grade: 1-2 hours
8th Grade: 1-2 hours

Students who are absent will get homework assignments the day of their return to school and have time to complete them.
